Setting up Mail for your BBS 42 hosted account

In Outlook Express To get to your mail settings go to TOOLS - ACCOUNTS

With BBS 42's hosting your mail servers are ALWAYS @ your domain. The format for your SMTP and POP servers will be mail.yourdomainname.whatever

If You are behind a firewall or on a service such as Sympatico you will need to change th SMTP port from the default 25 to 587. this allows you to bypass there outbound mail restricions.

If you wish to use SSL, you can set the SMTP port to 465.
